It truly will help many to understand, not just those who have suffered great loss like both of you have, but for others to see better how to come along side one who is suffering loss. Your book was one of the most beautiful books I have ever read. I laughed and cried. Thanks so much for sharing your lives, your hurts, your pains, your joys and opening yourselves up the way you did. Before I read it, I thought it would be mostly applicable to hurting and grieving people, but I really think that anyone can gain from it. It's a powerful testimony of trusting in and surrendering completely to the Lord. Personally, that's what spoke to me the most (where I am right now); sometimes I don't think so much about complete surrender when everything is going okay in my life.

Like both of you, I lost my husband very suddenly two days before Thanksgiving 2002.
